Animation Process
Animation, whether 2D or 3D, requires extensive planning before jumping into recording keyframes. I've learned that sticking to a well-thought-out plan is crucial for staying organized and understanding the scope of each project, especially when working on complex body mechanics.
Planning
During this stage, you can gather references by observing real-life examples.
In my case I recorded several videos with my phone while walking on the street and then select the Best One!
Define timing for looping
For my loop animation I chose 25 frames to loop.
Key Poses
Create key poses, from references
From my video reference I chose my key poses: contact, up, down, pass and contact.
In-betweens and Splining
Identify in-betweens as low and high poses
Splining Editing animation curves
Polish/ Refining Pass
Adding Offset to the animation curves
